Considering that the access on Inca Trail is restricted and independent trekkers aren’t even allowed on the trail, tours represent the best way to visit the country’s most important landmarks. Most of the tours combine the adventure (trekking) with culture (visiting Machu Picchu) but there are also special tours for those spending their honeymoon in Peru or for those looking for a bit more adventure (cycling, horseback riding tours).
